Originally two cottages, the downstairs has been opened up to create a bright and comforting home-away-from, the combination of an Aga and modern-oven making this a chef’s dream, while the living room, snug, study and south-facing courtyard create a satisfying ambience that each guest can revel in as they amble from room to room in total tranquility. We can also provide a HOT TUB for your stay so that you relax in the courtyard and enjoy an evening under the stars.

The upstairs, by contrast, remains divided into two separate cottages, with each side accessed by its own staircase in a way that feels quaint, charming and surprisingly practical. Split evenly with one double and one twin on each side of the house, as well as a bathroom, you get to enjoy an enhanced sense of escapism the moment you retreat to your boudoir, the sweet soundtrack of birdsong gently dancing in from the outside.

The Old School House was originally two cottages which have been knocked through on the ground floor to comprise a kitchen, a living dining area with Sky TV, a further snug with Sky TV, a study with table football, a recently refurbished and brand new downstairs shower and WC, utility room and private south facing courtyard garden.

Upstairs is still divided into two and each side is accessed by two separate staircases which offers great flexibility for accommodation. The main part of the house offers two bedrooms, one twin, one double and a recently refurbished upstairs bathroom with shower. The other side offers two bedrooms, one twin, one double with use of the downstairs shower room. There is good on street parking outside the house.

This property can sleep a maximum of 8 adults, however we can provided extra sleeping arrangements for children.
