The Nook is a charming, quaint and romantic one-bedroom cottage in the delightful Leicestershire village of Woodhouse Eaves.
Guests enter the cottage into the living room, a calm and airy space adorned with characterful wooden beams and a log burner, perfect for cosying up in front of after a long day’s adventure.
Through the living room is the kitchen, with a breakfast bar perfect for enjoying the first hot drink of the day. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven and electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher – everything even the most ambitious of chefs would need to rustle up a hearty and nourishing meal.
There is also a family bathroom located on the ground floor of the property, complete with a large shower.
Upstairs, guests have access to a study with a desk and chair, perfect for remote working.
The master bedroom is furnished with a kingsize zip and link bed, which can also be split into two twin beds, providing a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the unique requirements of your party. We are also able to provide an additional portable bed, on request, to sleep a third guest.
To the rear of the property, guests have access to a private courtyard complete with a barbecue, wooden bistro dining set and charming wood-fired two-person hot tub.
There is on street parking available just outside the property. We are able to welcome one well-behaved dog at this home (fees apply).

There is an abundance of places to visit and things to do in the area surrounding The Nook. The village of Woodhouse Eaves has 4 pubs, including The Wheatsheaf Inn, as well as a village store, boutique shops and a delicatessen. Bradgate Park, with its free roaming deer and rolling hills, is the perfect location for long walks and summer picnics.
There are two golf courses within a 5-minute drive, Charnwood Forest, Leicestershire’s oldest golf course and Lingdale Golf Club.
The Great Central Railway, with its full-sized steam trains, has stations in neighbouring Quorn and Rothley and hosts regular events throughout the year. The cities of Leicester, Derby and Nottingham are all within a 30 minute drive and East Midlands Airport is just 20 minutes away.
