Squirrel Lodge is a 2-bedroom home in the quintessential Leicestershire village of East Langton. Situated on 3 acres with direct walking to Foxton Locks from the end of the drive, you are well away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy this wonderful county with its many attractions.
Sleeping up to 4 guests the cottage is bright and airy with all the modern comforts you need to enjoy a lovely break away including a luxury hot tub!
Squirrel Lodge comprises of 2 bedrooms, 1 double bedroom on the ground floor and two single beds on the mezzanine level, with vaulted ceiling and open beams, that looks over the ground floor. The kitchen, dining and living space are open plan allowing for free movement between the spaces. The shower room is also on the ground floor.
Enjoy cosying up infront of the log burner or swing open the doors and extend your stay out to the garden and enjoy a dip in the luxury hot tub.
Breakfast baskets with all local produce are available to add to your stay with a small additional charge. please get in touch for more details.
With Foxton Locks a 10 minute drive away, Nevill Holt Opera 15 minutes away and Rutland Water just a half an hours drive Squirrel Cottage is a perfect base for a countryside getaway. Burghley House with its famous gardens and Horse Trials are 45 minutes away.
There are great walking and cycling routes on your doorstep so you can choose to have an activity filled weekend or simply switch off, sit back and enjoy the space. The nearest village pubs The Bell Inn & The Langton Arms are just a stones throw away and many local takeaways deliver to the area.
We can welcome 1 pet to join you on your stay, but we do ask that they are kept on a lead in the gardens.
Lead guest must be over 25 years of age.
There is allocated parking for up to 2 cars.
