Buried within walking and cycling routes, during your stay you can choose to take full advantage of the beautiful countryside on the property’s doorstep, or simply kick back, relax, and enjoy the views and tranquillity that Somerset has to offer.

The property has recently been refurbished, enhancing its natural charm and adding some modern luxurious touches. The carefully selected design and location make the Ashford Barn the perfect staycation spot to make unforgettable memories with your friends and family.

The barn can accommodate up to 8 guests with three bedrooms and one reception room (with a sofa bed), an open plan kitchen, and a large garden with private parking for the property.

As you enter the barn you walk through the entrance room with seating area, perfect for a morning coffee. This leads onto into the open kitchen area with a central dining table that seats 8. The modern lounge is the perfect resting spot for the whole family and offers sleeping for 2 people on the double sofa bed.

Upstairs the Master Bedroom offers a large king-sized bed. Bedroom 2 features a double bed and finally bedroom 3 offers twin beds that can be put together to form another king sized bed.

You will find the bathroom upstairs boasting a luxurious roll top bath and separate shower.

If you are looking to benefit from the culture and history of Somerset you can take a visit to Yeovilton Fleet Air Museum or if you prefer your education to have a little more alcohol content, be sure to visit Perry’s Cider Museum.
The barn is in the perfect location for long walks with Ilminster and District Angling on the River Isle less than 5 miles away. Barrington court, “an atmospheric fragment of old Somerset” is only a stone throw too. If you prefer to see what Somerset has to offer via horseback, you could take a trip to one of Ilton’s Horse Riding Schools, where you get the chance to see and ride their horses, pack yourself a picnic and have the perfect day out for all of the family. There are also a number of cycling routes in the area if you prefer to explore on two wheels.

Just a 10 minute drive away from the barn there is Jordans Yoga & Wellness centre with a cafe serving delicious, sweet treats for you to enjoy in between yoga sessions.

The barn is only a 7 minute drive to Ilminster, where you will find boutique shops, convenience stores, cafes and bakeries, and only 40 minutes from the beach.

The area is surrounded by National Trust attractions including, Montacute House, Barrington Court, Dunster Castle and Prior Park Landscape Garden.
