The house comprises of a cosy living room with large corner sofa and TV. Perfect for movie nights or relaxing after a hard days work. Through to the back of the house you have the open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to be able to cook up a storm, or if cooking isn’t your thing the takeaways in the village are pretty good!
Downstairs you also have a utility room with WC washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first floor of the house has the master bedroom, a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and the main bathroom with walk in shower and bath. The top floor comprises of 2 additional double bedrooms. All towels and linen are provided for you during your stay so no need to bring these with you. We can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.

To the back of the property there is a southwest facing courtyard garden.

Barrow Upon Soar is located just a 10 minute drive from the local town of Loughborough making it a great base for those visiting the town for work or leisure. The renowned Loughborough University is a short drive away and the towns main train station is also only 10 minutes away.

Barrow also has its own train station with regular links to both Loughborough and Leicester and the old Ivanhoe line (hence the house name) used to run through the village.

The village itself has a lot to offer with several pubs, cafes and restaurants to explore. You can also pay a visit to Barrow Boating and hire narrowboats, rowing boats and pedalo’s. Bradgate Park is a short drive away if you fancy walking through the countryside and spotting the many deer that roam freely through the park.
