Stealing your breath on arrival, the brick and wood-clad exterior of this modern country house feels charming yet chic, a vibe that continues throughout this property, from the spacious living spaces to the flood of natural light. Boasting a kitchen spacious enough for entertaining, a lofty living room with log burner, a dedicated snug with games console and board games for your kids to lose themselves in and an enclosed garden that backs onto a horse-filled paddock, this place was made to create the kind of memories you’ll never forget.

Children and Dogs: Bring them all. Your little ones and your four-legged friends for the ultimate family-escape for all. The utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer also has a dog bed so your pets can get comfy too.

Hanbury House can sleep up to 11 guests within 4 generous bedrooms and the downstairs games room/snug. It is the perfect location for family get togethers.

The sleeping arrangements are laid out as follows:
No.1: Master bedroom with a king size bed, single sofa bed and en-suite shower room.
No.2: King size bed and en-suite shower room.
No.3: King size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds
No.4: Double room with 2 single beds.
No.5: Double sofa bed in games room / snug

There is also a family bathroom and travel cot and highchair should one be required.

We are located in the quiet village of Ashby Folville near Melton Mowbray.

Take a stroll to our local pub The Carrington Arms, just a 2 minute walk away. They serve lunch and evening meals using fresh local produce. They also have "Tuesday Curry Night" and "Friday Fish & Chips Night" and of course your traditional Sunday Lunch! Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes are always on the menu.

This is the ideal location for those wanting to escape to the peaceful countryside and go for lovely long walks! Rural Leicestershire is beautiful and there are plenty footpaths to explore.

There are also lots of things to do nearby - Melton Mowbray is famous for Pork Pies and Stilton Cheese! Further afield there is much more to enjoy, including Belvoir Castle, King Richard III Visitor Center, Twinlakes Park, Ragdale Hall Spa etc.

Rutland Water Park is about a 30 minute drive away and well worth a visit. Here you can enjoy fishing, sailing, cycling and walking. In the summer months there is also an inflatable aqua park!
