Ever since Prince Albert acquired the Estate in 1852 for Queen Victoria, it has served as the Royal Family’s Scottish holiday home.

The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained, and the stables have a collection of Royal carriages and cars and there is an excellent tearoom and shop open to the public to view.
